- All eligible nationalities planning to enter Sri Lanka for tourism, business, or transit purposes can obtain an e-visa through the official web link: https://eta.gov.lk/slvisa/
- In addition to the above, an on-arrival tourist visa issuance process is in place to facilitate incoming passengers from all eligible nationalities to Sri Lanka.
- The passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.

- Nationals of Afghanistan, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Syria, Madagascar, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Colombia and North Korea are required to apply for a visa in advance from the Department of Immigration & Emigration of Sri Lanka through a representatives.

- An affidavit mentioning the undertaking of the responsibilities of the applicant’s visit in Sri Lanka
